Carbohydrates are probably the most misunderstood macronutrient out there.
In this post, we lay out biochemical reasons WHY carbohydrates are the preferred fuel source for high-intensity exercise and HOW you can use them to optimize performance in Hyrox and CrossFit competitions.
This does not mean - and that is where the confusion is coming from - that you need to stuff yourself each evening after each training session with 4g of carbs per kg bodyweight if you are doing 3-4 WODs per week.
