👀 New study looked at the effect of caffeine of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) separately or combined on Performance in the workout Cindy. What is neat about this study is that every subject was his own control. This means that every subject did Cindy 5 times, each times with a different (combination) of supplements with a 7-day wash-out period. 📊 Results showed that caffeine, sodium bicarb, nor a combination of the two improved performance.
⚠️ This again shows that even if supplements have a positive effect on performance, it is very very small.
